Here I am to post again! XD Came across this when I was doing up my speech the other time and hey, its pretty true =)
Don't You Quit
When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill.
When funds are low and the debts are high.
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are.
It may be near when it seems so far:
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
I really must say, I am really grateful to many of you who came to help out despite the long hours and the 'sai kang' jobs, especially those who stuck it out washing at the sinks...
The going may get tough, especially after an hour or two of washing cans and breathing in loads of the... 'aroma' from the unwashed cans, but always remember, do not give up! We can do this together, and only together!
Lets hang on and strive towards our goal - 125 000! We also do need more people to help out on every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, so please come if you can! It really makes a difference... Lets wash/paint towards our aim! ;D
